Your Event

Ian Lawman is a real force to be reckoned with.  His unique approach to proving the existence of the afterlife goes hand in hand with his roots.  Ian comes from the Northeast of England and his down to earth background helps him to identify closely with the living and the dead from all walks of life.

Ian has a huge public following and has appeared in countless Television Shows portraying him as a real contender for being able to communicate with the spirit world. 

Working alongside the Haunted Happenings Team, Ian will be bringing your event to life at the Old Nick Theatre.  This is an amazing opportunity for those of you who are really keen to work with a psychic such as Ian Lawman who obviously possesses such an amazing gift.

Built in the Victorian period, The Old Nick Theatre was once a very busy Police Station and Court House, hence it’s name. In fact it is the courtroom itself that has been transformed into an eerie and haunting theatre.

This building has so many dark and sinister rooms and corridors to investigate that it is a must for any avid ghost hunter. Working in the old police cells you may encounter some of the chilling activity that takes place here. Our investigation includes the Rehearsal Rooms, Dressing Rooms and the Theatre itself where many ghostly apparitions and terrifying activity has been witnessed. However, things become more sinister the deeper we venture and for those of you who are brave enough, you can spend some time alone in the haunted cells. Make yourselves comfortable as you endure what can only be described as some spine-tingling activity emanating from corridors into the cells. Knocking, whistling, tapping and voices have all been heard here on many occasions.

The building is immense and has a wealth of areas for us to investigate as we attempt to elicit some paranormal activity from some of the less welcoming resident spirits.

The Old Nick is a very haunted building and we feel convinced that this location will really live up to its chilling location as one of Gainsborough’s Most Haunted Buildings.

Join Haunted Happenings overnight as we have exclusive access to all the haunted areas.

You can work alongside our famous team as we carry out our vigils and experiments. Whether you are an experienced ghost hunter or this is your first time you can be assured that you will be very well looked.

You can take part in table tipping, glass moving and Ouija Board (optional) communication as well as planchette work and carry out your own mini-investigation (for those of you brave enough to do so). You will also be given a workshop demonstrating the use of dowsing rods/crystals and electrical equipment. These are also available to purchase on the night.

The event includes all refreshments and snacks. Please bring anything more substantial to eat should you wish to do so. We welcome all filming equipment on our events and any other ghost hunting equipment that you may wish to use.
