Although many Media Companies including television have attempted to capture the ghosts and spirits of this very haunted location, they have never been able to do justice to exactly how much paranormal activity actually goes on at Samlesbury Hall. The notorious spirits here have been investigated by Yvette Fielding and the Most Haunted Team with some terrifying results. Other international Media teams have also visited in order to capture and record the phenomena here.

The ghosts and spirits that we hope to encounter here include Dorothy Southworth, the Legendary Grey Lady. She bore witness to the horrific and brutal murder of her young lover and his companions. Incredibly this act was carried out by members of her own family. There have been many strange sightings of physical apparitions here along with some eerie and ghostly cries. There are also immovable blood stains thought to be that of a slain priest, still visible today. You will also be able to see the shallow graves, which contained human remains.

A séance here in 1924 resulted in a terrifying ordeal for all concerned. There is also phenomena relating to the trial of a resident witch, who still haunts the building today.

We want you to join us on our first investigation here and to help us record what can only be described as an investigation not to be missed.

I just wanted to thank-you for an amazing night at Blair Street Vaults.. of all the events ive been on, this was by far the best and my first with Haunted Happenings. Ive been a developing medium for three years now and I have never before experienced such activity.

When you conducted the glass movng experiment with the group, ive never seen/felt the glass move with such force and accompanied with the dark spectre who was clear to see in the room on more than one occasion and on-command, the moans and groans clear to hear and the stool being moved next to me by an unseen hand was just the beginning of the nights event.

Down in the vaults we made a circle of hands and you talked the group through building up the energy and I was amazed to experience the vortex and see with my own eyes, stones which we had thrown 10-15ft into the vaults and asked to be returned, clearly being thrown back at us. When the group saw (what we thought to be) torch lights but resembled a swinging tavern lamp at the far end of the vault, when I went to investigate, shouting out for whom was there, i was astonished to realised there wasnt a single soul in sight and where the lights had emanated from was a wall....

By far the biggest experience for me was when you conducted the table tipping I could clearly see everyone's finger tips lightly on the table yet this heavy based table was literally dancing on each of its legs and jumping away from us every so often...incredibly impressive and i thought you did an amazing job of keeping the whole thing together, people who were initally frigthened, you reassured and the group bonded very quickly due to the good nature and professionalism conducted. There was a real lets-go-find-some-ghosts attitude with no frills or even the slightest hint of performance and i believe that due to the efforts of yourself and of the group being collectively involved, we were all well rewarded with an paranormal evening i shall never forget.

It was a real pleasure to meet you and the team Hazel and Elle I must say was a real kind hearted, geniune and very modest medium who worked extremely hard for us all to help bring the evening together nicely. I really cannot wait for the next HH event, please keep up the good work !!...
